An online calendar is primarily intended to record meetings and regular tasks, and it allows you to share information with others. TIMEMASTER will help you effectively plan daily work and personal tasks. Create a morning ritual that includes 5–10 minutes to write down all the day’s tasks from the online calendar, set priority tasks, and schedule free time. Morning planning of the entire day will help you create a battle plan for the day. You will know exactly how to start, which task is first, second, and everything you want to accomplish during the day. It’s very simple: open your online calendar, transfer all tasks from the online calendar to TIMEMASTER, and assign them priorities, i.e., the order in which you will address them. Ideally, also transfer all meetings you have in the online calendar. Below, you will find a few more tricks on how to work efficiently with an online calendar.
1. Plan vacations and regularly recurring meetings a year in advance in the online calendar
When your calendar is empty for the next year. Ideally, in December before the start of the new year, plan ahead everything you already know about for the whole year 2024, e.g. if you go to exercise on Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 8:00 a.m., plan this activity for a whole year in advance. If you don’t have it planned there, it is possible that someone will plan another activity for you there, because there will be an empty place in your calendar. You simply do it once at the beginning of the year and you can put it out of your mind.
2. In the online calendar, create a reserve of 1 hour at the end of the day for each day.
In this way, your colleagues cannot plan any activity for you there. It’s a time just for you that you can spend looking back on the day, learning, planning for the next day or simply using this watch as a backup when you’re running out of time.
3. On Friday, over the weekend or as the first task every Monday, review your online calendar for the following week
See what awaits you and plan the things from TIMEMASTER that you marked during the previous week. It will help you better prepare for what awaits you during the next week.
4. Create more online calendars
One for work purposes, the other for private purposes and, for example, one just to remind you of birthdays, important anniversaries and name days of people you care about. Then synchronize all these calendars into one. You can mark each calendar with a different color, so you can immediately see in the calendar what type of task it is. Having more calendars is important because you can change jobs, and when you have everything in one calendar, you can lose everything if you change jobs.
